Not particleboard, top to bottom. The part you never see is the part that lasts.
Doors and drawers both. Nothing slams, and nothing needs to be taught not to.
Full‑extension glides, so the back of the drawer is somewhere you can actually reach.
Hinges move in six directions. A door that drops can be brought back true without new parts.
CARB2 compliant throughout.
One year from delivery on anything we install. The terms are below, in plain words.

Read them on Google →“They were the last of the 4 companies that I interviewed for the job and were FIRST in every other way. Their price, attention to detail, communication, trustworthiness, craftsmanship, and kindness were better than I even thought to expect.”
“Sergey came out to our Farmhouse, measured and had a computer diagram of our kitchen done. He gave us a delivery date when we placed our order and delivered on time.”
“Every time they left, they would clean up after. There was no surprises in pricing or product. Amazing with communication, super friendly.”
The things people ask before they order.
How long does it take to get cabinets from River City Cabinetry?
Between 19 and 25 days from the day we measure to the day the cabinets are installed. Most finishes are stocked rather than ordered, which is what makes that possible. Custom work takes longer, and we tell you the date when you place the order.
Do face frame cabinets cost more than frameless Euro?
No. River City Cabinetry charges the same price for face frame and frameless Euro construction. Most cabinet shops charge more for one or the other, so the choice here is about how you want the kitchen to look and work, not about budget.
What are RTA cabinets?
RTA stands for ready-to-assemble. The boxes arrive flat and are assembled rather than shipped pre-built, which cuts weeks off the lead time and reduces transport damage. The materials are the same: plywood boxes, solid hardwood doors, soft-close hinges and drawers.
How many cabinet finishes are available?
Forty-five. Nineteen across six framed door profiles, five in the Slim Shaker line, five frameless Euro finishes, and sixteen older colours that are still sold. Older colours are not retired, so a kitchen you saw years ago can still be matched.
Do you install, or only supply the cabinets?
Both. River City Cabinetry can deliver cabinets for your own installer, or measure, build, deliver and fit the whole room including countertops and flooring. The one-year warranty applies to work we install.
What areas do you serve?
Nampa, Meridian, Boise, Caldwell, Kuna, Star and Eagle — the Treasure Valley. The shop is in Nampa, Idaho, and visits are by appointment, Monday through Saturday.
Will you beat another cabinet shop's quote?
Yes. Bring a written quote from another shop and River City Cabinetry will come in ten percent under it, with the same boxes, the same finishes and the same 19 to 25 day turnaround.
One year, and an honest account of what that means.
On anything River City installs, for the original buyer, in a home. It covers defects in material and workmanship.
Damage from moisture, sunlight, household cleaners, misuse, or work that someone else installed, modified or took apart.
Grain, colour and small cracks at the joints change as wood ages and takes light. That is the material behaving like material.
We replace it with the same style, or the closest one we still carry. An exact match to something installed years ago is not something anyone can promise.
Read the full terms
River City Cabinetry warrants, for a period of (1) year (if installed by River City) from the date of delivery to the original purchaser, the product provided by it to be free from defects in material and workmanship when properly installed under normal residential use.
This warranty is subject to disclaimers set forth.
Some variation in the finishes of these products is characteristic, in terms of color and texture, and does not constitute a defect. Warranty is limited to the original purchaser, for residential applications only.
This warranty does not cover defects caused by improper handling, storage, installation, assembly or disassembly that is not provided by River City Cabinetry, deliberate damage, product modifications, exposure to the elements including humidity which may result in warping or splitting, accidental misuse, abuse or negligence.
Natural woods may vary in texture, color and wood grain, and display subtle changes as they age. For example, wood joints may eventually have visible cracking around the joint area and cabinet colors may darken or lighten over time. Sunlight, smoke, moisture, household cleaners and other environmental conditions may cause materials to vary from their original color and/or to warp, split or crack. These variations are considered to be the nature of the material in relation to their environmental exposure and are not covered under this warranty.
River City Cabinetry periodically updates and makes changes to its product line and specifications. If a warranty claim is filed against obsolete or changed product, River City Cabinetry will replace the part(s) under warranty with a new part of the same style or with a similar style currently offered.
River City Cabinetry cannot be held responsible for replacement product that may not exactly match installed product. The original consumer purchaser must contact River City Cabinetry.
